About Good Citizen News Network

Good Citizen News Network (GCNN) is an independent content channel that exercises — not weaponizes — the First Amendment. We explore public spaces, film in government buildings, and capture unscripted moments that reveal how institutions and individuals react to transparency. While some label this activism, we see it as storytelling — powered by our right to record, not defined by it.
We understand that opinions vary within the auditing and transparency communities. Our goal isn’t to represent a movement — it’s to document life as it happens and let viewers draw their own conclusions. What unites our content is curiosity, not conformity.

Who Runs GCNN?

Good Citizen News Network is independently run by a self-credentialed journalist committed to public transparency and the right to record. I handle every part of production — from filming and editing to public records requests and publishing.

This channel wasn’t built to chase viral moments or spark confrontation. It began as a way to document everyday interactions in public spaces and hold institutions accountable — not through outrage, but by simply observing and asking questions. I may not work for a mainstream outlet, but I do what journalists are supposed to do: show up, document, and share what I find.
